Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. is celebrating its 20th anniversary and to commemorate, they’ve teamed up with adidas to create an eye-catching collection
It’s been 20 years since Monsters, Inc. made its way onto the big screen and to celebrate, Pixar and Adidas have teamed up to create a collection which’ll make any fan smile.
Perfect for the spooky season, the four styles call on the four main characters; Mike Wazowski, Sulley, George Sanderson and of course Boo.
Monsters, Inc. fans can get their hands on Stan Smiths with a twist, with one pair inspired by the terrifying ‘ Sully ’ featuring purple and blue faux fur (anything but subtle), or go bold with the ‘Mike Wazowski’ Stan Smiths, sporting a fluorescent green sole and graphics of Mike himself.
As well as Stan Smiths, there’s also basketball shoes on offer including the ‘ Sulley’ Dame 7 shoes available in both kids and youth sizes, and the D.O.N Issue 3 shoes, covered in Mike’s recognisable green hue and featuring the character’s eyeball on the shoes tongues.
And the fun doesn’t stop there. If you’re struggling with what to dress your little one up in this year for Halloween, there’s also a great range of Monsters, Inc clothes available to buy as part of the collaboration.
Below, we’ve picked out some of our favourites from the collection:
Make a bold statement with these Stan Smiths. Featuring Sulley’s blue and purple fur coat seen all over the trainer, they’re the perfect gift for any Monsters Inc fan.
Another eye-catching design, this shoe is a must-have collector’s item and of course the ultimate Mike Wazowski fan. The one-eyed character features throughout, plus there is the classic Stan Smith patch on the shoe tongue and a Trefoil on the heel.
The rubber sole unit is coated in monster-like green as a final nod to the character.
Fluorescent green and positively garish, Mike Wazowski’s D.O.N Issue 3 is one for those looking to make a statement. The sneaker’s bold details include a black wavy line on the upper sole, a rough textured material on the body finished with a single Mike’s eye on the tongue
