Thor Bjornsson Is Open To Fighting Mike Tyson Or Tyson Fury

Thor Bjornsson will fight Devon Larratt at the Sport Society in Dubai tonight, after Eddie Hall was forced to pull out of the event.

The former world’s strongest man has taken on two exhibition challenges so far since making the switch from strongman to boxing last year.

But he will compete against Larratt in a bout that will be judged, and where knockouts can be scored.

The Dubai pay-per-view event will feature 13 fights throughout the day, with prelims beginning at 3.30pm British times, and the main event is set to begin around 9pm.

Bjornsson will be a strong favourite in the main event, while the undercard will also feature a bout between two crossfit stars and professional bouts featuring Martin Bakole or Avril Mathie.

Closer to home, Kash Ali defends his European Championship in Sheffield on a Fightzone show.

Here’s all you need to know about tonight’s boxing matches…

“Thor has more experience but I know as you need in a fight is one shot, so get ready for it.

“Thor’s nose will blow up. If he breaks my nose, I’ll give him 500 dollars, but if I break his nose, I want 5000 dollars from him!”

What time will the fights start?

The event will begin at 5pm from Sheffield.

The two title fights will be main and co-main, expect the main event to start around 9pm.

How to watch via TV and live stream

The event will be shown live on FightZone, which costs £5 for the month or £55 for the year.

Quotes corner

Ali : “I’ve seen one of Gorst’s fights.

“He’s got heavy hands and has stopped most of his opponents. He seems like a decent boxer too.

“His record speaks for itself, he can’t be lucky – he’s knocked out six, and lost on points to a decent kid, so he’s definitely not to be underestimated.”
