Bridgerton season 2 first look teases a new romance | Channel

Netflix has released a first look at the second season of Bridgerton during Saturday’s virtual fan event, TUDUM,  

The 1:16 clip teases a new romance with the introduction of the new lead, Sex Education’s Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma.

According to the streaming service’s character description, Kate is a smart, headstrong young woman who suffers no fools – Anthony Bridgerton very much included.

In January, the streaming service announced that the season of the show would focus on Anthony Bridgerton, which is based on the novel, The Viscount Who Loved Me by Julia Quinn.

In the book, Kate is the older sister of the woman Anthony has decided to marry. Kate wants to stop this impending union because of Anthony’s reputation as a rake. But sparks soon fly between the two.
