Doja Cat almost missed her big moment at the 64th Grammy Awards.
The 26-year-old and fellow singer SZA both won their first Grammys for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for Kiss Me More.
The pair beat fellow nominees BTS, Coldplay, Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco, and Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.
The Say So singer had to rush back from the bathroom to accept the award alongside SZA.
As Doja hurried to the stage, SZA said, “Bro, you went to the bathroom for five minutes. Are you serious?”
“I have never taken such a fast piss in my whole life,” Doja replied jokingly.
During her speech, Doja got teary-eyed after thanking SZA; she said: “I like to downplay shit, but this? It’s a big deal. Thank you, everybody.”
