An elated Chris Jooste powered to victory in the Cape Town Cycle Tour on Sunday.
Jooste won the men’s elite race in a time of 02:36:14, with Andries Nigrini finishing second and Jaedon Terlouw third.
In the women’s elite race, Mauritius rider Le Court De Billot won in a time of 02:13:20, with Vera Looser and Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio rounding out the podium spots.
It was Le Court’s third title in a row and her fourth overall.
