While her social media was flooded with congratulatory messages about her pregnancy, award-winning DJ Lamiez Holworthy says she was not ready to share the news. 

Holworthy and her Motswako rapper and businessman husband Kulane ‘Khuli Chana’ Morule broke the news and their baby’s gender in a video on social media. The couple is expecting a boy. 

The couple celebrates their third wedding anniversary in the video and signs their marriage certificate. Holworthy also debuts her baby bump, and they pop a balloon filled with blue confetti.

Responding to an Instagram story reposted by the hair and make-up artist Enhanced By Lolo, Holworthy said while she was not ready to break the news, she did it because “a silly blog almost ruined something so sacred”. 

“@enhancedbylolo, you know that I wasn’t ready. I did it because a silly blog almost ruined something so sacred. I am, however, glad that this genuine moment was captured,” she wrote. 

According to the hair and make-up artist, Holworthy had been planning to reveal the news at a later date.
