Logan Paul has reflected on his emotional speech after his exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather, labelling it an incredible chapter.

The YouTube star’s recent outing was a huge success as he earned over $5 million for going the full eight-round distance with Mayweather.

And he was left in tears after the fight in an emotional speech that reflected on his journey to facing one of the sport’s greatest athletes.

Paul has reflected on the journey as an “incredible chapter” as he plans to continue his career against other famous fighters.

“It’s a lot to take in, I got humbled then I took up boxing and it changed my life,” Paul told the True Geordie YouTube channel.

“It is hard to put in to words, I have been through so much s***, to go from one of the most hated people on the planet to the Mayweather fight it was amazing.

“The journey was insane, it’s my first time watching it as it is so much to process and download, I was proud of the fight, but I had to pat myself on the back and be proud of what happened.

“For me this fight was everything, it has set me up for the rest of my life and this was a huge chapter.”

The fight was received negatively for many outside of Paul’s fans, with Mayweather clearly struggling to negotiate the huge size difference between the pair.

But despite the contest gaining some negative reception, it sold upwards of one million buys on Showtime helping Paul pocket a purse of over $5 million.

And Paul has been linked with Brazilian fighter Anderson Silva next, who called for the YouTuber after his recent victory over Tito Ortiz.

“Jake Paul and his brother have a chance to fight with me and Vitor. You know, it’s a good fight,” Silva said after the fight.

And he addressed the rumours further to TMZ Sports : “Everything is possible. Jake Paul and Logan are doing a lot of good job in this new entertaining show, and we’ll see. Everything is possible.

“I respect both. The kids are doing good and working hard to be successful in this entertainment show. And let’s go see. Maybe this is possible too.”

Paul has been backed by several people within the sport, including Mexican legend Oscar De La Hoya who believes that YouTubers are bringing a “new audience”.

His younger brother Jake Paul is having success himself, having defeated former UFC star Tyron Woodley by split decision in Cleveland.

And he has been linked with a boxing showdown with British light-heavyweight Tommy Fury next, who defeated Anthony Taylor on his undercard.

But Logan has backed his younger brother to “murder” Fury, comparing his result against Taylor in sparring to Fury’s in the ring on the pay-per-view card.
