The organisation describes itself as a ‘movement’ of engaged people who aim to use ‘their collective voice to end extreme poverty by 2030.’
The annual concert has been organised to help ‘defend the planet and defeat poverty’.
Meghan and Harry will use their time on stage to ask the EU and G7 to immediately donate at least $1 Billion for global Covid-19 vaccines.
Their aim is to provide aid for countries who have been hit hardest by the pandemic.
Harry made his first appearance for the organisation back in May at the Global Citizen’s VAX Live: The Concert to Reunite the World..
During his talk, he spoke about his work raising funds amongst the private sector for the vaccine-sharing program, COVAX.
