In honour of World Mental Health Day, Moonpig is offering customers a free ‘Thinking of You’ card to send to a loved one

Make someone smile this weekend with a thoughtful ‘Thinking of You’ card

Ahead of World Mental Health Day this Sunday (10 October), Moonpig is encouraging the nation to connect with others and show someone they care by giving away free cards to honour the awareness day.

The 48 hour offer which started yesterday allows Moonpig customers to send one free ‘ Thinking of You ’ card to a loved one to be delivered ahead of World Mental Health Day this upcoming weekend.

Talking about the offer, Sarah-Jane Porter, head of cards at Moonpig, said: “We know the power and effect that sentimental words in a card can have on someone, and so we wanted to honour such a worthy day by making it even easier for the nation to reach out and show someone they care with our range of free cards.

“We hope that people will take us up on the offer and let a friend or family member in need know that they are thinking of them.”

You can choose from over 100 different designs

To make your card even more personal, customers can add a handwritten message by uploading it from your phone or by using an Apple Pencil on your iPad.

There’s over 100 ‘ Thinking of You ’ cards to choose from, with plenty of messages on the front including; ‘You are so loved, sending you hugs and kisses, and I’m here for you – so there really is something to make everyone smile.

Once you’ve added one standard ‘Thinking of You’ card to your shopping basket, you’ll then need to add the voucher code ‘ THINKINGOFYOU ’ in the section beneath the check-out button that says ‘got a voucher code’ and click ‘apply’ to receive the discount.

A standard card from Moonpig would normally cost you £3.29, so you’ll save some pennies by getting it for free.

But, if you’re hoping to cheer someone up in time for the weekend, you’ll have to be quick as the offer ends tonight (October 7) at 11:59pm and is limited to one card per customer.

Please note, postage of the card is not included in the offer and will cost you 85p for first class or £3.99 or next day delivery.

Cards participating in the offer can be found here.
