There is a massive £14million up for grabs ahead of tonight’s EuroMillions draw, which is due to take place at around 8.30pm this evening.

It comes after one lucky punter in the UK managed to scoop a life-changing £111million just last week.

In April, an anonymous EuroMillions player became the UK’s fifth biggest winner after a £122million prize was paid out.

But the biggest ever UK winner claimed a jackpot of £170million in October 2019 – although they chose to stay anonymous as well.

To play EuroMillions, you pick five main numbers and two Lucky Stars, with draws taking place every Tuesdays and Fridays.

But like with all National Lottery games, EuroMillions is ultimately a game of chance – so even picking the most common winning numbers won’t increase your chances on scooping the jackpot.

This is because each draw is a separate event, so any numbers can be called out.

The chance of matching all five EuroMillions numbers and the two bonus balls is 1 in 139,838,160.

What are the most common EuroMillions numbers?

A spokesperson from Camelot, which runs EuroMillions, told The Mirror the most drawn numbers are: 23, 44, 50, 19 and 37.

Numbers 23 and 44 have each been drawn a total of 164 times each, while number 50 has been called 162 times, and it’s 159 times for 19 and 157 for number 37.

The next most common numbers that have been called out are: 38, 4, 5, 15 and 42.

As for the Lucky Stars, the must drawn numbers are 2, 8, 3 and 9.

Number 2 has been drawn 292 times, followed by 288 for number 8, 284 for number 3 and 267 for number 9.

These figures are based on numbers that have been recorded since the EuroMillions launched in February 2004.

The game originally had Lucky Star numbers ranging from 1 to 9 but this has since increased to 1 to 12.

This means numbers 10, 11 and 12 haven’t been around as long as some the lower numbers, so keep that in mind when you take into account the most commonly drawn Lucky Stars.

In the UK, a single entry to a EuroMillions draw costs £2.50.
