Nick Cannon welcomed his seventh child earlier this year – his fourth in the span of 12 months.
Of course, the internet went into a frenzy with the news he’d become a father once again, but Wild’ n Out host let everyone know he had his kids “on purpose”. “I don’t have no accident!” he said.
Now, he says, while speaking to DJ EFN and N.O.R.E. during an interview on Revolt’s Drink Champs, for the rest of 2021, at least, he plans on remaining “celibate”.
“I’m going to see if I could make it to 2022,” he said.
“I’m trying to chill out, though. I’m chillin’, I’m kind of stepping away, getting focused, going within, getting my celibacy on. I have enough children, enough frolicking, I’m good right now.”
Nick Cannon is father to twins Monroe and Moroccan, whom he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey, as well as 4-year-old son Golden and 10-month-old daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell. In June of this year, he welcomed twins Zion and Zillion, with Abby De La Rosa, and soon after, baby Zen with Alyssa Scott.
