Lindiwe will take her last breath on e.tv soapie Scandal! on 10 November.

Nomvelo Makhanya has been with the show for 9 years, and her story has grown extraordinarily over the years.

Playing the character Lindiwe, her journey began as a high school student in the Ngema household in Soweto. She made her way through a life filled with trials and tribulations, where she became the owner of a club and married Nhlamulo. 

Lindiwe recently fell pregnant with Nhlamulo’s child, a dream come true for the beautiful couple. But disturbingly, Lindiwe started feeling abnormally ill and discovered that she had a chronic illness.

As her condition worsened, she was forced into a choice between her baby’s survival or having an abortion to ensure her own survival. Lindiwe decided that after all she had gone through, she would take the risk of keeping her baby and fight to the bitter end.
