The plant-based brand is adding a new Mint Chocolate flavour to its impressive vegan ice cream range
Calling all vegan ice cream fans, the world’s largest oat drink company Oatly is launching a brand-new oat-based Mint Chocolate ice cream flavour – and we can’t wait to dig our spoons in.
The brand’s new vegan Mint Chocolate ice cream joins its existing lineup of Chocolate Fudge, Strawberry and Salted Caramel ice cream.
Made with the best natural ingredients, the ice cream is described as “fresh” and “leafy green”, with dark chocolate chunks and no synthetic ingredients.
The oat-based Mint Chocolate dessert launches at Sainsbury’s and Ocado this month, followed by Tesco in November.
The ice cream is priced at £4.50 and will pair perfectly with your Christmas pudding over the festive season – or you can just eat it straight from the tub like us.
Talking about the latest flavour addition, General Manager at Oatly UK, Ishen Paran, explained: “The introduction of our new Mint Chocolate ice cream is another instance of us making it easier for people to take the leap to plant-based.
“We’ve put an Oatly spin on a flavour everyone’s been asking for – and we think it will go down a treat with ice cream lovers.”
Since its launch, Oatly has vastly expanded its products, introducing flavoured yoghurts, chocolate milk, whipped cream and of course, ice cream to our supermarket shelves.
Oatly products are available from a wide range of retailers and supermarkets including Tesco, Ocado, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and more.
It seems it’s not just Oatly who are expanding their vegan ice cream range. Ben & Jerry’s is also launching a brand-new Non-Dairy flavour just in time for World Vegan Month this November.
Introducing… Salted Caramel Brownie, filled with Ben & Jerry’s famous gooey-chewy fudge brownie pieces nestled into caramel non-dairy ice cream, and swirled up with a river of succulent salted caramel.
Available nationwide this Autumn from £5.49, the latest addition to Ben & Jerry’s non-dairy family is sure to satisfy any sweet tooth.
