While most of us get our work done during the day and get to sleep away the night hours, there are those whose job involves the graveyard shift – and it has that nickname for a reason. Each episode of this spine-chilling series revolves around three different stories of paranormal encounters, told by the people who actually experienced them while working the nightshift. You may never look at your workplace in the same way again.

Tim, a late-night radio DJ and producer, working in the American Midwest, is the subject of the first of the 13 instalments. Tim’s first night was filled with strange occurrences such as loud giggling, banging on the studio door, footsteps in the ceiling, and glimpses of a child in the shadows. And then things got worse…

You’ll also meet Heather, the former owner of The Looking Glass restaurant in Toronto. When she bought the property, she knew there were rumours it was haunted but didn’t believe any of them. The night the restaurant opens, Valentine’s Day, the air conditioner starts making a knocking sound at 02:00 as Heather is cashing up. She goes to investigate, only to have a terrifying encounter with …. her doppelganger. It’s enough to drive her out of business.

Dan lands his dream job managing a bowling alley. When it comes to clean-up time, and everyone has left, the dream turns into a nightmare. Where are the eery, ghostly footsteps and disembodied voices coming from? Dan’s not going to stick around to find out. He soon learns his colleague Bob has had some similar experiences.

Gerald’s the caretaker for a high school. One cold night, he and a co-worker cut through the school tunnels. Gerald notices what he believes is an intruder – but his co-worker seems to be caught in a trance. It’s only when he feels a force push him firmly against a wall that he realises – this is no regular intruder.
