Kate Middleton, Princess Diana and Prince Charles, attending Bond premieres in 2021 and 1985.
Jaws dropped when Kate Middleton walked the red carpet at the No Time To Die world premiere alongside Prince William, and Prince Charles and Camilla, on Tuesday evening in London.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a gold Jenny Packham gown complete with a cape – and when she came face to face with Daniel Craig, he told her: “You look jolly lovely!”
So taken by the duchess’ red carpet moment, we almost missed her nod to her mother-in-law. Princess Diana attended the premiere of Bond film A View to a Kill alongside Prince Charles in 1985 – and similarly dazzled in a long-sleeved metallic gown.
Diana also shook hands with the film’s star, Roger Moore.
A View to a Kill was the fourteenth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions, and is the seventh and final appearance of Roger Moore as the spy.
No Time To Die also marks Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing in the 007 franchise.
