The pizza chain has delighted its customers by launching its first ever vegan branch in London as well as adding five new tasty plant based dishes to its menu
Fellow vegans, rejoice! Pizza Express has just launched its first ever plant-based restaurant in London – and we can’t wait to try it out.
Located in The Strand, the new pop up restaurant will provide a vegan alternative to some of its most famous dishes including the ‘American Jack’ and the ‘Pollo Ad Astra’ which will be changed to the ‘Vegan Ad Astra’.
The ‘American Jack’ features smoky jackfruit ‘pepperoni’ and tomato with the signature vegan mozzarella alternative and the ‘Vegan Ad Astra’ has been turned into a Quorn pizza with sweet red peppers, Cajun spice, red onion, tomato, garlic oil and vegan mozzarella alternative – our mouths are already watering.
Best of all? Pizza Express will also be launching a brand-new menu in its standard restaurants from today (21st September), which sees the biggest ever number of new vegan additions, including exclusive new vegan versions of the most famous PizzaExpress favourites.
The Vegan Pizza Express is open now, so you can head there to test out their delicious plant-based options.
The brand has been working with Jack and Bry for over a year in order to develop an exclusive vegan pepperoni, and it will be included in several vegan versions of classic Pizza Express recipes.
Now five classic PizzaExpress recipes are being introduced in vegan form – leaving diners spoilt for choice.
