A teenage girl was raped and then murdered along with her boyfriend by two security guards posing as policemen in Turkey, it is alleged.
Sami Aydogan and Sefik Ekici, acting as police, handcuffed the couple who they said they were “detaining” in a horror attack where they later threw their bodies in a river, it is reported.
Police began a search for Seyma Demir, 18, and her boyfriend Hasan Aydogan, 21, after their families reported their disappearance last week
During the investigation a vehicle used by the couple was said to be found abandoned in a forested area in the district of Agbayir, in the Turkish province of Kirsehir.
Mobile phones, coats and a bag containing Seyma’s personal belongings were found inside the vehicle.

After a tip-off on the evening of March 26, police teams started a search on the edge of the Kizilirmak river, near the village of Kortullu, about 25 miles from the centre of the city of Kirsehir.
During a night-long search, Seyma’s lifeless body was found by the river, and the two male security guards were detained as suspects.
Aydogan and Ekici allegedly spotted Hasan and Seyma in a remote area where they were drinking, and introduced themselves to the couple as police by showing their guns.
The suspects told the young couple that they were “detained” for an undisclosed reason, then cuffed their hands behind their backs, put them in their car, and took them to the shore of the Kizilirmak river, it is claimed.
The suspects, who continued to drink alcohol there, allegedly first raped the teenage girl and then shot her with a single bullet in the back of the neck and threw her into the Kizilirmak river.

Afterwards, they allegedly shot and killed Hasan and also threw his body into the river.
Authorities believe Aydogan, who has allegedly confessed to raping and murdering Demir, tried to destroy the evidence by having his car valeted after the murder, it is reported.
It was also said that Ekici, who has denied the accusations, is the nephew of the mayor of Kirsehir, Selahattin Ekicioglu.
According to reports, the young woman’s corpse was found thanks to air bubbles trapped in her coat, which helped her body float to the river bank.
Seyma was buried in the village of Akcaagil, in the province of Kirsehir, on March 28, following an autopsy performed in Ankara while the search for Hasan’s body continues.
The police investigation continues.
