Things are about to get hella sad.

Issa Rae has shared the trailer for the final season of Insecure. Alongside the video, on Instagram, she wrote: “SeasonByeve, okay?! Can’t believe this is the last @insecurehbo trailer I’ll ever share. See you Sunday, October 24th!”

The series follows Issa Rae as Issa Dee, who struggles to navigate the tricky professional and personal terrain of Los Angeles along with her best friend Molly (Yvonne Orji).

Season 4 ended with Issa and Molly trying to mend their friendship, and Lawrence (Jay Ellis) and Issa kind of reconciling, but news of a baby with his ex-girlfriend Condola (Christina Elmore) could throw a spanner in the relationship.

In the clip, we see Molly once again single, Tiffany (Amanda Seales) adjusting to motherhood, Issa still trying to figure out her life both professionally and personally, and Kelli (Natasha Rothwell) as always dropping some pearls of wisdom. We also get a glimpse of Lawrence, Nathan (Kendrick Sampson), and, could that be a new love interest in the form of Kofi Siriboe (Girls Trip, Queen Sugar)?

“I just want to fast forward to the part of my life where everything is okay,” says Issa. Same Issa, same.
