Sharks sign UWC’s Varsity Cup star ‘Driller’

The Sharks have confirmed the signing of Zimbabwean and University of the Western Cape (UWC) loose forward Tinotenda Mavesere.

The 22-year-old was a standout for UWC in their Varsity Cup campaign, scoring some memorable tries – and earning the nickname “Driller”.

He was also voted the standout forward following this year’s campaign.
