DC Comics has big plans for the new Man of Steel.

Jonathan Kent, son of Superman Clark Kent and Lois Lane, will come out as bisexual and fall in love with a male reporter, the comic book company announced on Monday.

When Jon Kent physically burns out from trying to save the world as the new Superman, Jay Nakamura takes care of him, starting a budding romance between the two, DC comics said in a release.

The scene is set to take place in the pages of SUPERMAN: SON OF KAL-EL #5, which is expected to hit comic stores on Nov. 9.
