Virgin Media customers have been left without internet this morning after widespread service issues.
Dozens of customers have reported outages with the internet giant over the past 24 hours, according to the DownDetector website.
Most of the reported issues were in and around London, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and Belfast.
Most of the outages were for internet (61%), 12% were for email services and 27% for both.

Customers also took to Twitter to report issues with their Virgin internet.
@virginmedia please can u help as our wi fi in the upstairs of our house is non existent and costing us a fortune in data from our phone supplier – u have admitted there is an issue but we need a resolution to get a signal upstairs or we may need to change our supplier

Other Virgin users said the issue had been ongoing.
@virginmedia I pay a ridiculous amount of money for WiFi to be like this… Most of the time I can't even load anything. Last time I complained we got a new router but guess that's not the issue pic.twitter.com/KuhXVsvD04

Virgin Media has been approached for comment.
