West Indian captain Rovman Powell won the toss and chose to bowl first in the rain-shortened first T20 against South Africa in Centurion on Saturday.

The game was shortened to 11 overs aside after incessant rain, with the toss being delayed to 15:45, from where play was scheduled to start at 16:00

The Proteas named a strong XI with Quinton de Kock returning to the side and opening the batting while Anrich Nortje also returns.
