Brit holidaymakers coming back to the UK from Turkey will no longer need to quarantine as the Government is set to shakeup its traffic light system for international travel.
The new travel rules had been expected today amidst speculation that the green and amber lists could be simplified into one category.
The red list would remain in place for high risk countries, which means some travellers would still be required to quarantine.
Reports from The Times say Turkey has been removed from the red list, which will be drastically cut in the announcement tomorrow.
Alongside this, double jabbed Brits coming back into the UK will not need to take a PCR test, the paper reported, with non vaccinated Brits not needing to take a rapid flow test up to 72 hours before their arrival.

Currently, travellers returning from green list destinations need to take a Covid test before arriving in the UK and on their second day back in the country.
They must also fill in a passenger locator form.
The rules for amber list countries are the same for vaccinated people after the Government said fully jabbed Brits no longer need to quarantine.
Non-vaccinated people returning from amber list countries must quarantine at home for 10 days and take PCR tests on day 2 and day 8.

In the shakeup, unvaccinated Brits may need to take two PCR tests when arriving in the UK, in what may be the Government’s bid to encourage more people to get jabbed.
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps had been expected to announce a formal review of foreign travel rules by October 1 – in time for the autumn half term.
Earlier this week, Boris Johnson said: “I know travellers have been frustrated this summer… but it’s reasonable to ask people to do that to help protect the population.
“We will be saying a lot more shortly about the traffic light system, about simplifying it, and about what we can do about the burdens of testing less onerous for those who are coming back into the country. That will be coming shortly.”
