Vladimir Putin ’s gymnast lover has a reported net worth that’s a massive three times bigger than legendary former heavyweight boxing champ, Mike Tyson.

Alina Kabaeva is rumoured to be the long-term secret mistress of the Russian president.

A Russian tabloid reported on April 11, 2008 that the Moscow leader divorced his wife Lyudimilla and planned to wed the then 24-year-old ex-Olympian.

Reports have claimed she’s currently hidden away in Switzerland along with Putin’s apparent twin daughters.

The 38-year-old former Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast has a reported net worth that dwarfs the boxing legend Tyson.

Thanks to Kabaeva’s work as a gymnast, politician and media mogul, she is worth a reported whooping £7.6million.

By contrast, the two-time former heavyweight world champion has a network more than three times less than that of Kabaeva, at only £2.3million.

Tyson made a massive £300million over his glittering boxing career but into his retirement, his net value is believed to have dwindled considerably.

Once-Olympian Kabaeva won medals at two Olympics games during her career.

But her time as an athlete was marred by a doping ban in 2001.

She won gold as a gymnast aged just 16, in the rhythmic gymnastics bronze in the all-round competition, at the 2000 Olympic games in Sydney.

Four years later she repeated the feat, winning gold again at Athens.

Alongside that, she won nine world championship gold medals and a further 15 in the European championships.

However, following her retirement in 2007, rumours of a possible relationship with the Kremlin boss reportedly began to swirl.

In 2014, she admitted that “everyone should have their own little secrets”.

She did later add that: “I hope that someday the gossipers will calm down.”

Putin has also denied the rumours in the past, responding to one report by saying: “Those who with their snotty noses and erotic fantasies prowl into others’ lives.”

The Daily Star reported it is understood that the couple have twin daughters together, who are currently living in hiding with Kabaeva in Switzerland, where they have been since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
