Saturday Night Live spoofed Netflix’s hit show, Squid Game, with a country parody song.
On Tuesday, the streaming service announced that the Dystopian South Korean drama became its most popular series launch ever, drawing 111 million fans since its debut in September.
In the nine-episode survival drama, hundreds of cash-strapped people compete in a series of children’s games to win the final reward of 45.6 billion won (R572 million).
In the latest episode of comedy sketch show SNL, guest host Rami Malek teamed up with Pete Davidson and Big Wet for a musical tribute of sorts.
Lamenting their financial woes, the pair have no choice but to join the Squid Game. The duo participates in deadly games such as Red Light, Green Light, and Glass Stepping Stones in the clip while singing catchy lyrics.
